25 Years of Excellence in Management Education
KLE Society’s College of Business Administration, Lingaraj College is a leading undergraduate management institution in North Karnataka established in the year 1996 when BBA course was introduced by Karnatak University Dharwar. The institute became Autonomous in the year 2007 joining the illustrious list of institutions which are conferred Autonomous status by the University Grants Commission. The institute is reaccredited at the “A” level by NAAC in the year 2016 and is also recognized as the “Centre for Potential Excellence” by the University Grants Commission.
22 batches have graduated from the institute till date. All the students are well placed in reputed companies/ pursuing higher education in prestigious institutions or have established successful business ventures.
The institution has won 147 General Championships till date in various State and National Level Inter college Management events besides winning several individual prizes.

Right from government, companies, institutions, hospitals, NGO to home and our life there is a need for management. Yet, when we look around we really find proper management of things. Mostly, there is no management or there is mismanagement. Hence, our effort is to inculcate management skills in each student.

The facilities consisting of the basic ones like Classrooms, Library, Computer Lab, Ladies room, Seminar Hall, to the supporting facilities like Amphitheatre, Central hall, Play ground, Indoor Stadium, Swimming Pool provide the required academic and cultural ambience that complements the activities in the institution.
The unique subjects on Business Awareness, Professional Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, Indian Business, Leadership, Communication Practical, Personality Development & Life skills that the students get to learn in the institute due to the autonomous status provide the students major competitive edge and make the learning relevant to the corporate world. The industry based specializations like Event Management, Digital Marketing, Media, Supply chain and logistics, International Business, Financial Markets and Services etc. help students get non BPO jobs.
The teaching faculty is well qualified and competent. Most of them have industry experience and are currently pursuing their Ph.D. The core team of experienced teachers being there for over a decade with the institution has been an added advantage. The innumerable Workshops/ Seminars, Executive Interactions, Industry Visits and Tours and internships make the learning industry oriented and practical in nature.

The performance of our students in the last two decades, five ranks to the Karnatak University before the institute becoming autonomous, 147 general championships won by the students in various State and National level inter college Management events, the excellent placements in leading corporate houses and the successful alumni bear the testimony to the quality management education imparted.
