CBA Lead

KLE CBALC LEAD CELL was installed in the year 2015 by signing an MOU with LEAD of Deshpande Foundation, Hubballi. The LEaders Accelerating Development (LEAD) Program of Deshpande Foundation, Hubballi, Karnataka fosters innovative and entrepreneurial thinking within college students by exposing them to social issues and by encouraging them to volunteer their time and effort into the community. Through workshops and events, LEADers Accelerating Development (LEAD) unleashes the leadership potential of youth so that they start proactively ideating, see problems as opportunities, create solutions and crack the algorithm of execution. LEAD was initiated to ignite the minds of young college students by giving them a taste of innovation and entrepreneurship. By exposing youth to social issues and encouraging them to volunteer their time, LEAD raises civil awareness, instills a spirit of service in youth, and helps youth engage with their community. LEAD ignites their latent talent to come up with creative solutions. LEAD is an incubator where innovation meets implementation, knowledge meets experience, social issues meet solutions and efforts meet impact. LEAD has helped bridge the gap between an idea and its implementation and serves to accelerate development.

KLE CBALC LEAD Cell executed different projects successfully.

  • YASHASWINI- 2 A women empowerment and training project wasorganised by leaders of KLE CBALC Lead Cell for 10 days. During the program 50 rural women were trained to produce handicrafts at their home, with the motive of empowering them financially.
  • BURN EGOES NOT CRACKERS An anti cracker campaign was organised by leaders of KLE CBALC Lead Cell, to educate the students and residents about harmfull effects of crackers since they are the largest users as well as a rally was byeen organised by the students .
  • EK KADAM SWACCHTA KI OOR The students of KLE CBALC LEAD Cell, on 2nd October 2018 performed street play on the concept Swach Bharat Abhiyaan. It was being performed in order to spread awareness about the cleanliness required in our surroundings, at the RPDcircle and had been covered by Tarun Bharat.
  • KLE CBALC Lead Cell donated blankets, shirts, pants and shoes in the month of on 31st Dec 2018 night, to the poor people who were sleeping on the footpath.
  • KLE CBALC Lead Cell distributed happiness to those who were there for us on the eve of festival rather than being there with their family.Just a token of love for them by distributing sweet boxes on Diwali.
  • KLE CBALC LEAD CELL students celebrated the Independence day by creating awareness about procedures of availing facilities under PradhanMantriAwasYojana among the flood victims.
  • KLE CBALC LEAD CELL students undertook a campaign to create awareness about Post flood Health and Hygiene requirements at various schools of Belagavi region.
  • KLE CBALC LEAD CELL students also took an initiative to educate the students about climate emergencies.
  • STOP BAGGING THE PLANET. SAY NO TO PLASTIC BAGS.
  • Students of KLE CBALC LEAD CELL Mr.Shridhar Belagavi and his team conducted Handwash Campaign for school children at Government Schools in Belagavi. They demonstrated basic hand washing technique as per WHO guidelines.
  • Student of KLE CBALC LEAD CELLMr.RoshanMonterio is learning Ayurveda Medicinesfor Animal ailments.He is planning to set up a different NGO for the same. The work is in Progress. He is also now the member of BAWA – Belgaum Animal Welfare Association.
